Founding Fellowship

The capability gap, addressed directly.

16 weeks. 13 modules. 30 to 40 founding fellows. The professionals African digital-asset markets are hiring for and cannot find.

The Dialogue identifies what Africa's evolving digital-asset regulatory environment will require. The Fellowship develops the professionals capable of delivering against those requirements.

The market needs professionals who understand digital assets, financial regulation, AML and CFT, compliance operations, technology and risk management at the same time. Almost nobody does. No African law faculty, business school or professional body currently produces that combination at scale.

Delivery is blended: live virtual sessions, asynchronous material, applied group work and one in-person convening, with continuous assessment, applied deliverables and a capstone institutional output.

Cohorts are deliberately mixed across the public and private line and across the Founding Five. A substantial part of the value is the working relationships formed between people who otherwise meet only formally.

The curriculum

Thirteen modules, derived from the Issue Log.

The curriculum is derived from our Issue Log, the live register of what the market cannot currently do, and refreshed annually.

You will produce real work

Fellows are not passive learners.

Each cohort contributes to jurisdiction research and trackers, drafts compliance checklists, contributes to live consultation responses, and completes a capstone addressing a genuinely open question. Where quality permits and editorial review approves, capstone work is published with attribution.

Selection is competitive and based on responsibility, motivation and cohort balance. Funded places are reserved for public-authority participants and for candidates who could not otherwise attend. Funders of those places have no influence over selection, curriculum or assessment.

Fellowship alumni receive free professional membership for life.
